We are heartbroken by the news of the passing of Miss Brigitte Bardot, a woman whose compassion knew no boundaries and whose legacy will forever be woven into the lives of animals around the world. Miss Bardot was a tireless and courageous champion for those without a voice, dedicating her life to the protection and dignity of animals everywhere.

For many years, she was also a proud and generous sponsor of several of our Brumbies in high-level care. Her support went far beyond financial assistance—it was a powerful affirmation that these magnificent horses mattered, that their heritage deserved protection, and that their welfare was worth fighting for. Her kindness has left an enduring mark on our organisation and on the lives of the Brumbies she helped safeguard.

May Miss Brigitte Bardot now rest eternally in God’s loving care, reunited with the countless animals she spent a lifetime defending. Her spirit, compassion, and unwavering commitment will continue to inspire us and so many others across the world.
